Must-Have Shoes for Your Fall Wardrobe

I don’t know about y’all, but all I can think about is fall fashion! I am starting to get so excited about all of the new possibilities in my wardrobe, even though it is still 90 degrees where I live. A girl can dream! My favorite part of my closet and any outfit has always been shoes, and fall shoes are top-tier. I love the versatility of styles and comfort levels, and the way just changing a shoe can change the entire vibe of a look. I have been scouring Amazon to get inspired for this fall season, and am so excited to share with you all of my favorite finds!

Flats are back and I hope they are here to stay! In my closet they will be. I have loved watching this trend blossom back on trend and seeing all of the new and unique styles of flats that have been coming out this year. My personal favorites have been crocheted flats, but now that we are moving into fall I am so excited to try new styles. Here are my favorite, highly rated, and undoubtedly stylish picks for fall:

  • Cushionaire crocheted flats: So cute and so comfortable. Can easily be styled down with jeans and a simple top, or paired with a skirt or dress to elevate the look. I am also loving this pair with a buckle detail.
  • Ballet flat-sneaker-combo: Who would have ever thought those words would be paired together?! Probably no one, but they are so stylish and chic, pairing athleisure with a model-off-duty look. I think these look great with athletic wear, going to and from yoga class, or even styled with your comfiest airport outfit!
  • Tabi flats: Now I know these aren’t for everybody, but all of the girls I see wearing them look amazing. Truly a cool-girl shoe, trendy yet they always come off as high-end. This pair is nowhere near that high end price tag!

Of course I have to include some sneakers! Sneakers are always a staple in my wardrobe, I can find ways to style them with anything. That being said, I have been in need of some neutral-yet-not-boring sneakers. These are my favorites!

  • Lacy sneakers: I think these sneakers are the perfect combination of sporty with that feminine touch of lace. The laces even add more whimsy, and I think these are so cute with a nice midi skirt, or even a pair of jeans for day-to-day.
  • Retro-style sneakers: These sneakers have such an old-school feel to them, while still feeling modern and trendy. I love the simple style and the combination of colors, and there are a few colorways to choose from! You can’t go wrong having this pair in your closet, they will match with so many different styles and colors.

Boots are always a must, and I like how the style of boots a person chooses says so much about their personality. Whether you are into a more moto look, or a simple chic pair, you at least need one or two in your closet. Here are my 3 favorites this fall!

  • Lace-up boots: I. Love. These. !!! I think these are so simple yet it is a style of boot I personally haven’t seen before. They are very classic in style but the lace up detail on the side adds a girly touch. These will be perfect for fall, and even spring with a cute dress, or for a music festival / concert outfit!
  • Moto-style boots: I have been partial to combat boots for the better part of my life, and I think the moto boots are the grown-up version of that. They feel elevated and more mature but still allow me to feel like I’m participating in the trends. I even love this pair with the fold-over detail at the bottom.

Lastly, I included a couple of other shoes in the picture that don’t quite fit into the other categories. These Cushionaire suede clogs scream fall and are so affordable for what they are. They are so comfortable and so cute, I even talked about them in my last blog post! Of course I had to include one heel, but I plan to make an entire separate post about heels for the fall and winter season, so just one for now. These low block heels with adorable buckle detailing are so easy to style, so comfortable, but really take any look to the next level.

That is going to be the end of my shoe choices for now, but there are definitely more to come! Like I said, shoes are my favorite part of any outfit, and I have no shortage of options to share with y’all. I could not be more excited to start styling new fall looks, and I hope some of these shoes get you guys excited to do the same!
